Plural Flags

The community around plurality uses a plentiful amount of distinct symbols and flags to identify with. And lots of them are very pretty. So we decided to operate some of them, to share some attention to them, but of course also to acquire some more graphical elements. To move a step further, we want to explain the essence behind the symbols and flags, grant a spotlight to the creators and show our support.

We think that having a symbol that can create a shared identity is especially important for beings which persona is more complex than usual. Giving these beings something to choose is as important as giving them something to unite.

And lastly, since most of these motives are spread over the wide world of the internet, please consider this as a try to collect many flags in one primary place, even though it will grab some time.

We own been thinking of movement flags. We saw that some people have planned plural flags. We wanted to make one too.

Purple for Mystery.This is education you are plural for the first time, but it is also education things later. We are always learning!
Blue for Trust.This is the trust between headmates. Hard but important.
Green for Harmony.This is internal harmony, whether you opt for to fuse or decide to stay many.
Black for Diversity.There are many ways to be plural! We are stronger together.

The request that the stripes are in is important, too.
The journey of a system begins in Mystery. Then we build Trust, so that we may grasp Harmony.
We mirror this pattern because there are many ways to take this journey. So you can read the flag going up or down.
We place black at the center because plurals can be very different, but we have this journey in common.

We call this the Plural Journey Flag.😊 Here is also a basic version with just four stripes.

PMSC&

PMSC& is an umbrella acronym that stands for Plural, Multiple, System, Collective, &, coined by @yamazakura-chan in August 2022 to be a more inclusive term for all non-singlets, whether partially or fully non-single.[1]

The legal title is formatted similarly to the acronym for the LGBTQ+ community and includes an ampersand (&) at the end. This is both because it is a symbol for plurality/non-singlethood, and because it literally means ‘and’, denoting there are more identities not mentioned in the acronym that are still included. It also acknowledges that not all non-singlets favor or use one specific term to describe themselves and their experiences. For example, not all non-singlets identify with the designation system and may like the term collective, and so on.

This phrase is inherently inclusive of all forms of plurality, multiplicity, systemhood, collective individuality, and non-singlethood, and against fakeclaiming of any kind.[2]
