The 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their equitable, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender and gay (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives. Award Recipients can be seen here.

The Publishing Triangle began giving awards for nonfiction in 1997. Each of its two nonfictions awards is for books published in the preceding year (i.e., the 2025 award will honor a book published in 2024). The Randy Shilts Award honors the journalist whose groundbreaking work on the AIDS epidemic for the San Francisco Chronicle made him a hero to many in the community. Shilts (1951–1994) was the author of The Mayor of Castro Street, And the Band Played On, and Conduct Unbecoming. This award recognizes works that are by or about gay men, pansexual men, and/or transmen, or that possess a significant alter upon the lives of queer men.
The finalists and the winners are determined by a panel of judges appointed by the Publishing Triangle’s awards committee. The winner receives a prize of $1000.
In the listings below, finalists are presented in alphabetical order by guide title. Bold type and a triangle indicate winners. There contain been two years with ties, 2016 and 2002.

This space provides a secure, welcoming environment where people can come together to celebrate, connect, and declare themselves. Runners up: The Scene Lincoln Rainbow & Dove Leicester Event of the Year supported by Hayu The Event of the Year award recognises an exceptional LGBTQ+ event that has made a significant impact on the community. This event, whether a festival, party, or gathering, stands out for its celebration of LGBTQ+ culture, inclusivity, and creativity. Runners up: T4T Mighty Hoopla Enterprise Award supported by Post Office The Venture Award celebrates LGBTQ+ businesses and workplace trailblazers who have gone above and beyond to foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and acceptance. This award honours business owners and leaders who actively produce safe, supportive environments for LGBTQ+ employees, promote equality, and drive positive transform in their industries View the Winners The mission of The British LGBT Awards is to celebrate and champion the diverse achievements and contributions of the Queer community, while fostering greater understanding and inclusion through our annual awards event in London. We aim to motivate positive change by recognising those who advocate for equality and by partnering with organisations devoted to authentic allyship. Through our events and initiatives, we strive to execute our part to help create a more inclusive population where LGBTQ+ individuals are empowered, esteemed, and valued. In 2024, The British LGBT Awards noted our 10th year anniversary supported by organisations such as HSBC, Metro, and Legal & General. We remain unwavering in our pledge to advancing diversity and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. Ronaldo Wins ‘Gay Icon’ Award
Kylie could only supervise a second-place finish, while Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli predictably made the top five.
A spokesman for 'gaygolddiggers' said, “Ronaldo’s ripped body, slicked-back hair, shiny white teeth and jewellery swung the votes his way. He looks appreciate any gay man or woman’s dream. What with being Footballer of the Year, scoring 42 goals last season and former girlfriends saying he is talented off the pitch, he seems to contain everything going for him.”
No comment has yet been made by Ronaldo on this early bit of success this season, but he will surely want to retain the title when the survey is held again next year.
David Beckham may also seek to boost on a disappointing seventh.
