The LGBTQ Youth Space
The LGBTQ Youth Space offers collective drop-in and mental health programs for lesbian, homosexual, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and ally youths and young adults ages 13-25 who live in Santa Clara County.
The LGBTQ Youth Space hosts support groups, art workshops, activism and leadership opportunities and more in safe and confidential spaces where individuals can be themselves. In addition to regular programs, Diverse speakers share their lived experiences.
While the center is closed for the day being due to COVID-19, Youth Space is providing virtual hangouts, communications and other resources throughout the week.

The San Jose LGBTQ Youth Space is a society drop-in center and mental health program for woman-loving woman, gay, bisexual, transgender, homosexual, questioning and ally youth and young adults ages 13-25 who live in Santa Clara County. The center is committed to running a participant-driven program focused on youth empowerment strategies.

The LGBTQ Youth Space is directed by Adrienne Keel and staffed by a team of LGBTQ+ and ally community members. Staff members have diverse professional backgrounds including the fields of social justice, youth maturation, mental health, social labor, sexuality and gender studies, community organizing, public health, and arts and customs. The center also employs peer mentors in help of their community.
