The 21st annual NWA Pride Parade and Festival Weekend, the largest Gay Pride celebration in Arkansas, returns to Fayetteville for another year of festivities Friday, June 27 through Sunday, June 29, 2025!

The 2025 edition of the iconic NWA Pride festival is rolling out modern details frequently, but based on previous years and what we know so far, expect a weekend full of fun and love! About NWA Equality

Northwest Arkansas Equality is a nonprofit organization providing programming, education, and representation to serve, connect, and empower the Lesbian, Same-sex attracted, Bisexual, Transgender, and Gender non-conforming (LGBTQ) community. 

NWA Equality advocates for over 50,000 Lgbtq+ individuals annually through policy initiatives, resource connections, and support programs that foster safe, inclusive environments. Our services include free HIV and Syphilis testing, five monthly LGBTQ+ support groups, 40+ annual social events, and a broad network of resources and companion organizations. We are also the proud host of NWA Pride—Arkansas’ largest LGBTQ event.

NWA Self-acceptance Weekend is more than a celebration—it’s a movement, a statement, and a lifeline for LGBTQ Arkansans and the thousands who travel from neighboring states. It’s the largest LGBTQ event in Arkansas and one of the biggest in the region. The 40,000-person weekend brings awareness, advocacy, and a secure space for our society and allies while serving as a significant economic driver for Northwest Arkansas.

Now in its 21st year, NWA Pride is Arkansas’s largest LGBTQ celebration and one of the most powerful cultural events in the region. What began in 2004 as a grassroots community gathering has evolved into a bold, joyful, and unrelenting movement, drawing more than 35,000 people to downtown Fayetteville each June to honor love, visibility, identity, and progress.

This year’s festival, taking place from June 27th to the 29th, marks a significant milestone: a decade of marriage equality in the United States. We honor ten years of love, recognition, and legal dignity for LGBTQ couples, and we reaffirm our commitment to proceed the fight for equality and justice.

The celebration includes two days of vibrant festival programming and inhabit performances in the fresh Upper Ramble, the memorable NWA Pride Parade, the Midwest’s only Trans Pride, and signature events appreciate Glitterville and Hi Tea. Together, these moments design a weekend of defiant joy, connection, and unapologetic pride.

LGBTQ+ Virtual Resource Center


NWACC's LGBTQ+ Virtual Resource Center serves all faculty, staff and students by cultivating an environment that is trustworthy, affirming, open and inclusive for all people of all gender identities and sexualities. 

This virtual center provides educational opportunities and resources for anyone interested in learning about Diverse people, issues and concerns. The virtual center works with groups across campus to increase consciousness and affirmation of LGBTQ+ people and reduce discrimination and harassment based on gender identity and expression or sexual orientation.

Opportunities enclose ally workshops, inclusion training, student and employee groups, panels, books, documentaries, speakers and programs on current issues in our community. The virtual center also provides resources for anyone at NWACC who experiences discrimination or who needs support as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
