Not mentioning great politicians, such as Emperor Hadrian, who dedicated an entire villa to his favourite friend and lover, Antinoo in Tivoli, near Rome. Florence witnesses the controversial Renaissance life-style, with Leonardo’s and Donatello’s masterpieces.
