How to enjoy Summer in Berlin!
In many countries, Movement Month is celebrated in June, in memory of the Stonewall riots in New York on 28Th June 1969. Berlin, on the other hand, celebrates Pride in July (find out all about CSD here). But even before and after that, numerous queer celebrations and festivals take place all over the city. The foremost known is the 'Lesbisch-Schwule Stadtfest' (Lesbian-Gay City Festival) in Schöneberg. In 2024, it'll take place on the 20th and 21th July. Also extremely famous is the 'CSD on the Spree', which is also known as the 'Berlin Canal Pride'. A total of 19 boats on the river will ensure the best homosexual atmosphere around. This year you can set sail on 25st July. You can also enjoy the summer at the 'LesBiSchwulen Parkfest'. On 10th August, the Volkspark Friedrichshain will be transformed into the queerest place in the city.

History Phone: The 20s Manual to Naughty & Gender non-conforming Berlin
It’s safe to express that when I arrived in Berlin at 19, I knew very brief in general. In the two years I’ve spent here, there have been times when I fooled myself I’ve obtained some general knowledge I could apply to reality – and time after moment found myself utterly uncertain at yet another of life’s intricacies that Berlin exists to accentuate. And then it dawned on me – the only certainty I’ve experienced is the love for this city. The History Phone is my attempt to pay it forward – join us for a journey to discover a few of the lesser known facts from Berlin’s past that will combine some sparkle to your everyday walk though familiar streets.
A claim that Berlin is sexually intrepid will hardly come as a surprise to any of you. Actually, most expats are drawn to the Hauptstadt after having heard some juicy rumors – and then they authenticate them on any of our jam-packed club floors where scantily clad strangers crush conventions with every dance move.
However, a limited of you might be surprised when I speak that this whole cultural openness, an almost tangible spirit

Sacred Sexuality Temple – Born of Earth, Born to Love
by Triskelion
Youhoooo Homosexual Spirits: after spending a few attractive days celebrating Imbolc at Paddington Farm in Glastonbury, including a wonderful Revolutionary Faerie No Talent Show, where I could see everyone leaning into the restorative Imbolc room of connection and celebration, I'm thinking about our gay ancestors: remembering, and re-learning resilient practices from our ancestors can help us to grow our creativity. I spot myself thinking about Sacred Sexuality, and as we advance towards Pisces month (Feb 19-March 19), about the want for the passionate expression of the Earth.
Thinking deeper, I'm focussing specifically about the connection and celebration that we experience at Lgbtq+ Spirit Festival. This year, Glastonbury Goddess Temple will be joining us in celebration of the Goddess and with this I was considering about how sacred sexuality in past cultures was characterised with an intimate connection to the earth and the Goddess. Rituals were feasts where we gave help our sensuality as a thank you to Mother Soil. The Earth is as physical as we are and by connecting with each other physically, we can
A perfect, gay Berlin weekend of culture
Saturday is all about culture. During the day, galleries and museums invite you to visit them, including Galerie Deschler. There, a tribute to LGBTQI+ star Volker Spengler, the former Fassbinder player, is currently on exhibition. In the show, magnificently presented images, photographed by legendary Berghain bouncer, Sven Marquardt, are on display and curated by Nicholas Mockridge. The Urban Nation is currently exhibiting the six-decade retrospective of photographer Martha Coopers, with free admission. We also recommend the Schwules (Gay) Museum, which attracts not only the homosexual community, but also many straight people, with its captivating exhibitions. In addition to the Irène Mélix show, ‘Lonely Hearts’, there is an exhibition committed to HIV: ArcHIV goes on a search for traces of AIDS history, using the thematic AIDS exhibitions from ‘Infectious’(1992) to ‘Intimacy’ (2020). In October 2021, the first exhibition on inter* persons, ‘Mercury Rising’, will open. A spectacular space station with multimedia wall installations has been planned. Artists involve Cult of Rae, Rebekka Swan, and Money Mitchell.
